Something very exciting is happening in science. In the early twenty-first century there's a whole new model of reality penetrating the collective consciousness of humanity. The new model that is currently displacing the old model is based on Einstein's concepts of timespace, and his “energy=matter” physics; and physicist David Bohm's “implicate orders;” and quantum physics probability waves, field theory and uncertainty principle. It's called consciousness-based science or new science.

A mass awakening as to the fact that the world we experience is created in the minds of each of us is now occurring individually and collectively in religious groups and scientific circles. (All physicists agree that the act of scientifically observing an electron causes that electron to manifest as physical matter from its previous wave state. [Mind forms matter.]).

This knowledge will empower each of us and humanity as a whole to create an entirely new kind of personal and global reality, solving almost all our current individual and collective problems.

Universal love/intelligence (some say God or Allah, and some say the inner self or soul), along with our own beliefs, thoughts and emotions, forms our own daily life experience—both the good and the bad. You hold the key to changing anything you don't like in your life within your own mind. Each of us is powerful beyond measure.
As fantastic as these discoveries/facts are, there's a problem. As the new scientific facts in the new model permeate our collective consciousness, they are crashing into a deeply embedded, old-school, orthodox scientific view that the universe operates like a (mindless and soul-less) huge machine, reducible to mathematical equations; and we can't seem to let go of that old view and what it means for all areas of study, fields and professions.
People are divided. Some people accept the new science, and some reject it. Others accept portions of both conflicting worldviews at the same time, and are divided within their own minds. This division between people and within people constitutes a kind of individual and collective global schizophrenic condition that stalemates progress.
The workings of our societies and basically all professions—even laws—are based solely on the old scientific model. Instead of having preachers forcing the views of and compliance with the Church of England (as in the Middle Ages), old-school psychologists try to force belief in and compliance with Freudian and Darwinian unsavory concepts. They act as middlemen between commoners and the authoritative scientific belief systems, as priests once acted as middlemen between the church and commoners. Doctors and health professionals, politicians, judges and prosecutors, lawyers, newscasters, educators, economists, policy makers, corporate executives, writers, or any old-school professional does the same. Everywhere the old model is reinforced. The hub of the old paradigm is the mechanical view and Newtonian physics. All old-school views/professions stem from this core. It's ironic that physicists themselves have discarded the old physics as incomplete, yet the majority of the world's population—scientists and laymen alike—are still living their lives according to its precepts, and as if the thinking it generates in all fields is unquestionable.
Most laymen subscribe to some or all of the ideas and theories associated with or derived from the old model, and at the same time accept ideas associated with or derived from the new model such as psychic experience, life after death, mind influencing matter, or reincarnation. They want it both ways. It's either one model or the other, however. Holding elements of two divergent worldviews that conflict doesn't work. If the entire old paradigm and all thinking in all fields based on it is true, for example, then psychic experience or mind over matter can't exist. One or the other must go.
The above mentioned professionals may seem to build their theories on a large body of facts; however, statistics can be used to seemingly prove anything. The “Rosenthal effect” proves that the outcomes expected and beliefs held by scientists that conduct objective studies always influence results. In fact, consciousness-based science shows our beliefs and expectations always materialize. This explains why, for example, studies on what foods or behaviors are good or bad for us vary wildly from year to year, or even month to month.
The old scientific views are stubborn, and the old scientific bubble won't easily break. Outside of physics, science as a whole dwells mentally in a closed worldview that is entirely opposed to spirit, mind forming matter, and psychic experience. Even the universities insist on clinging to the old views.
There's a historic reason why this mistake is being made. Science itself and the scientific method was introduced in the Middle Ages to escape the affects of emotion or bias in ascertaining facts about the nature of the universe, and was in part a reaction to the religious fervor and intolerance on part of the Church of England. In those terms, science itself was a move away from emotionalism, spirituality and subjectivity (with the exception to the dry skeptical intellect).
There's an overreaction at work. As a result of values passed down from this time, science incorrectly considers anything subjective (other than the scientific intellect) as being suspicious—and as being against what they stand for. So much so that many scripted in the old-school science take personal offense to the idea that mind could influence matter. The idea shatters the very foundation of their worldview and thus scares them to the bone. As a result of their belief in the “purely objective nature of the whole universe,” combined with the effects of the “scientific method” which automatically by its very nature validates physical components of reality and simultaneously filters out subjective data, over time science has artificially and incorrectly divided the objective and subjective realms by largely denying the latter in their model. Even though they haven't disproven a spiritual realm, they act as if it were disproven by refusing to investigate. Their bias model rules out a spiritual reality.
What scientists scripted in old science feel with deep passion (ironically) is that science represents the intellect, and so they've “sided” with intellect against their own subjectivity. I say “ironically” because doing so is a subjective act. Old-school scientists, in effect, proclaim the dry intellect as “savior,” and because they think that anything that has to do with emotion, or religion to be opposed to reason and thus inferior or without merit, and combined with an age-old misconception of consciousness as being an insignificant byproduct of the brain (akin to steam blasting out of a steam engine), they are thus adamant about excluding subjectivity from their model of reality.
Interestingly, many ordinary people in contemporary times are making the same kind of mistake, only in the opposite direction. They are prejudicing the dry intellect and glorifying the aspects of subjectivity science condemned. In many religious circles—and to varying degrees—people are abandoning both science and any kind of rational or intellectual method of testing and scrutinizing their religious or philosophical beliefs, and instead are turning entirely to faith. In doing so they are making the same mistake science made by dividing reason from emotion, and the subjective from the objective, only they are taking the other side. The pendulum swings too far in the other direction! This too is wrong. Science and reason must be fitted to faith and spirituality. Abandoning science or reason is dangerous!
Science heralded in an age in which people were promised that the objective scientific intellect would solve all problems, achieve all goals and answer the big question about life the church had failed to answer. Because the objective intellect is synonymous with old science, and because people feel that science has failed in some important ways, they take this as being a failure of the objective intellectual approach. Throwing caution to the wind, they throw out all arguments against the religious beliefs they hold, because they are betting on faith and intuition at the expense of intellect, and intellect and reason are being abandoned to greater and greater degrees as the division worsens in many instances, and in some cases leading to cults or terrorist acts.
Emotionally driven fervor (not unlike what ran rampart in the Middle Ages) is dangerous if it is unchecked by the human rational faculty. If faith and reason are out of balance in either direction people can be led astray. This is why terrorism is on the increase. Consciousness-based science changes all of that, because it grounds spiritual beliefs or faith in scientific fact.
For several generations intellect and emotion, and science and spirituality have been artificially divided. This is an error. In each person intellectual reasoning should agree with intuitive comprehension; and intellectual reasoning should make perfect logical sense of religious, spiritual or psychic experiences; and both reason and intuition should play a role in every decision.
Science and spirituality must be united. Consciousness-based science makes that happen. New science proves that a spiritual reality is our source and the source of events; and validates religious and psychic experience. The new scientific model includes what the old model excluded—spirit, consciousness and love as important components of the workings of the universe.
Consciousness-based science is crucial. Without it we would have a regression in which superstition would reign. Without a strong global consciousness-based science merged with or in harmony with spiritual beliefs, a period in history would give rise to many warring factions, cults and religions, and a proliferation of terrorism. Nor would we be able to solve our personal and collective problems, simply because we won't understand their origin in our beliefs, thoughts and emotions.
The new consciousness-based science would give all valid religions a cohesive basis in factual science; would produce a new world by ending an overly materialistically focused era, by producing a new driving economic force, by opening up new areas by psychic-scientific study and exploration, and by producing an era of peace, love and cooperation for surpassing the Newtonian-Darwinian era.
Forget the old model, because physicist themselves now know it is incomplete, of value only in its limited capacity to advance technology. The old model is totally incapable of describing the entirety of reality and the full range of spiritual experiences we are capable of, and it throws up impossible to surmount barriers to the advancement of humanity.
As humanity progresses, each individual goes through somewhat predictable stages of spiritual growth which are triggered by self-examination, learning, or spiritually oriented activities. The individual's spiritual journey of awakening brings personal revelatory experiences involving one or more of the following: strange dreams, sudden knowing; encounters with angels/spirits, or loved ones who have passed away; strong desire to learn more, telepathy, precognition, clairvoyance, intuition, prayers or wishes answered, synchronicity, or have been impacted and moved by a spiritual teacher, book or psychic, great art or beauty, or an experience of love.
These landmark events encountered in the typical journey of awakening millions of us have gone through crash directly into the highly defended, rigid boundaries of traditional hard science—physics, chemistry, biology, astronomy—and their equivalent in terms of old beliefs hard-wired in all of us. Conflicting beliefs are invisible barriers in most people's lives that can hold them back. Spiritual courses and books are available to help people dissolve poor beliefs and line-up positive beliefs. The polarization that stalemates individuals who hold elements of the old and new worldviews simultaneously can also be resolved by exploring consciousness-based science (concepts of conscious creation or similar and related ideas). Many people are too embarrassed to do so, however, because of conflicting old beliefs or pressure from a schizophrenic-like society in denial.
EN says “enough of that!” Since the science to support all these psychic or spiritual experiences exists—as surely as your eyes reading this exist—and since the key to transforming humanity and bettering the world is to unite science and spirituality, what we must do couldn't be more obvious.
Each of us must learn the new science. Each of us individually, and all of us collectively as a global civilization, must displace the old incomplete scientific model of reality with the new, more accurate and complete scientific paradigm and all it contains. We must do this for our own good and for the good of humanity—to ensure that there is a future worth living for our children. Doing so will stabilize and accelerate our individual and joint development and fulfillment. Life will then improve radically, both personally and collectively.
