Philanthropy (Part Two)

Difficult circumstances often create paradigm shifts, whole new frames of reference by which people interpret what it means to be alive, the nature of reality itself, and how they must respond to life.  When this happens and a negative experience has a positive effect, it is called "a healing crisis."

When cleaning a pot by boiling water in it, the food which was hardened on the pot's bottom softens and rises to the surface.  In the same way, a problem can look worse when in the process of being solved.  When a problem is brought to a head, scientifically speaking, energy is being released, and the result is cleansing, transitional and transformative.  Whether personal or on a global scale, the problem is becoming more visible, pressing, harder to ignore, and more out in the open to be solved.

Consider the possibility of near-global environmental calamity, global recession, man-made or natural disaster, or an escalation of global problems in general.  These kinds of powerful problems create great incentive or pressing need - drive - toward finding solutions.  The problems themselves, by the mere fact of their existence tell people that civilization has taken "the wrong road," figuratively speaking.  Any such major problem implies that the basic paradigm (map) responsible for man's goals, actions, etc., is inaccurate.

A major disaster can cause people to unite, coordinate resources and minds alike.  The global environmental situation, being far more dire than most realize, may do exactly that.  On the other hand, economic or other catastrophes could be the catalyst driving the world beyond its current level of awareness.  A shift in consciousness to a more compassionate and knowledgeable world may bring about an entirely new kind of civilization.

Just such a crisis could be in the making.  It and discoveries in science which can truly shift humanity's perception - what a team of physicists in Vienna have verified in 2008 - may not seem to be related, yet may be in that the science holds the answer and will enable man to raise his consciousness and solve the problems he has.

The catastrophes in the world can be thought of as symptoms.  There are reasons why man has these problems, that when changed will show people that there are better ways of doing things.  These are insights that will allow man to solve problems which couldn't be solved at the previous level of consciousness.

We are not all advancing at the same rate.  Many will not be able to advance to the next level, and there are those that already have.  When man sees exactly how he creates his reality he will also understand that he is "plugged in," or directly connected to his environment.  This will lead to a different relation of man to his environment, i.e. he will treat it more gently, lovingly and respectfully.  Some youths have become sensitized to environmental realities, but few have connected psychically.  When this happens, it results in philanthropy toward the environment and animals.

Philanthropy aids one to advance to a higher level of consciousness.  As a result of many people being increasingly authentic or philanthropic, they are one step closer to the truth.  These individuals are mentally on the threshold of making certain realizations.  These are the people who will be able to recognize the validity of the ideas that will catapult them into a brand new paradigm.  The science will be that eye-opener.

As problems grow worse, more and more people will be feeling inclined to question humanity's belief system and what's generally considered to be normal or logical.  For many millions, however they stumble upon it, whether by accident or as a result of a desperate search for answers, the new science will give them what they need.  The new framework of understanding will quickly illuminate the errors of their previous methodologies and will show them the proper "map" and strategies.  This catalytic knowledge will also enable them to progress spiritually.

In other words, "the key to the door" already exists.  Scientists in Vienna have recently affirmed what we've put in our courses.  The new science can get rid of the science-religion split and help unify the race in its thinking.  The problem now is only in how we are going to get people to focus on the new science.

Getting more people to focus on human altruism - to recognize and validate it - is half the battle.  The trend in philanthropy, especially when youth get involved, is incredibly important.  The other half of the battle is a bit more complicated, involving recognition of a new paradigm.  The new paradigm, incidentally, shows us how we create what we believe and focus on.  If we focus on philanthropic and positive qualities in human nature we will become more authentic.  Also mentioned is that at a fundamental level we are inseparable from the environment and others.

The new science is "attractive" information in that it will satisfy those in both spiritual and intellectual circles.  Both groups will intuitively or instinctively recognize it as being accurate.  It is incredibly positive in the way it paves a way for "beautifying" humanity and earth-life.  Being quite positive in the opportunities it presents and how it sheds a redeeming light on human nature, those who consider it will be motivated to adopt it.  Forgive the metaphor, but in the same way youth have shown in great loving interest in both philanthropy and the environment, youth will take to it like a fish to water.

In both its scientific-spiritual accuracy, and its attractiveness or desirability, the two requirements for global acceptance exist.  Let's be smarter and more philanthropic then, and therefore speed up the process.  Surely, creating an ideal and sane world for our children is the highest philanthropic act possible.  Let us then use the great problems that now face us to motivate and transition to a great new era in which our children live in such a world.  You can do that right now by committing to philanthropy and personal excellence in intellectual striving.
