Such a science becomes the common denominator in the worldviews of all groups on earth, thus preventing a splintering of civilization. Cults and dogmatic worldviews are then limited in their ability to attract large numbers of followers. This synthesis or cohesiveness of thinking protects humanity's future. It also serves as an agreed-upon means to solve problems and mediate differences. With such a science, earth's civilization is then stable and grounded. EN's purpose includes promoting such a situation.
In 1924 physicist Louis de Broglie discovered one of the most historically noted, and the most essential concept in contemporary physics; that the Einstein wave-particle dualism was an absolutely general phenomena extending to all physical matter, from an electron to a star. The finding simply states that there is a ghost-like nonphysical side to all physical matter.
Physicist John Stuart Bell's theorem based on quantum facts rather than quantum theory (facts proven in experiments) shows that within the wave aspect of all matter, information flows from electron to electron at a speed faster than the speed at which light travels. Such a speed cannot be achieved in our three-dimensional universe (as stated in Einstein's special relativity theory). Therefore one is forced to concede that this “field” must have its existence within a deeper level than our universe.
Bell comments on the issue:
I think it's a deep dilemma, and the resolution of it will not be trivial, it will require a substantial change in the way we look at things.[1]
Many prophets of old recognized a spiritual side to all of nature, and now contemporary physics has shown that not only is there a nonphysical “wave function” connected to all nature (all matter and life) but that furthermore this wave function takes place in a deeper dimension, what physicists term “the implicate order.”
Even more extraordinary is the concept essential to quantum physics, that this wave field FORMS matter. We are manifestations of it. It's the medium that surrounds us, interpenetrates us, and actually is us. Religions validate these facts as revealing that God's intelligence forms our universe. Scientists call it “energy containing information.”
The widely accepted Copenhagen interpretation of reality was put forth by Danish physicist Niels Bohr in the early 21st century. Most contemporary physicists, if forced to choose, would choose this model (paradigm) over the Newtonian mechanistic model of reality (the solid particle/clockwork/universe model). The new model of reality rejects the idea of reality being a collection of exclusively physical particles and objects, each existing independently, one from the other in space. In the new model physical objects are not actually solid, and they are interconnected.
The new emerging consciousness-science draws from the Copenhagen model. It is the heart of a new paradigm—the scientific aspect of the metaphysical worldview—that will forge a new era for humanity.
