HOW TO TURN YOUR LIFE AROUND
Everything you create in your life begins in your imagination. To generate energy, willpower, motivation and determination, imagine right now that you have created everything you ever wanted and are a complete success! Think about it deeply.
When you are done imagining, ask yourself, “what does success mean to me?”
We believe that every person, regardless of their present situation, can have success in not just one, but all these areas! Now go back and do the exercise again, and this time picture your success in ALL these areas as vividly as you possibly can in your imagination. Take your time, and do this exercise as often as possible in your life. This is called pivoting. Success cannot be achieved without pivoting to a success mentality and focus.
INTERVIEW with WILLIAM EASTWOOD
STUDENT: “I'm stuck in my lilfe. It's not working. I need your help. For every time I take a step forward, something happens, and I end up taking two steps backwards. Why does that happen?”
EASTWOOD: “Your positive focus and your belief in yourself have slipped. I have a remedy. Right now I want you to remember back to when you were on top of the world.”
STUDENT: “That would be when I was twenty-five and in love. Boy, was life good then, and in all ways, not just some. I got engaged then, got a great house and I was making one hundred thousand a year with my first big contract as a framing contractor on a Denver condominium project. Everything looked bright then, especially the future. But that life is gone…all of it. I'm single and barely surviving. What happened?”
EASTWOOD: “Beliefs, thoughts and emotions determine your actions, ‘luck' and ‘bad luck.' Contrary to what most people think, you create or attract everything in your life according to your thinking patterns. When everything was working in your life, you were operating by a very good set of beliefs. What happened is that doubts and worries crept in and made inroads in your beliefs and resulting thinking patterns, so that now you are operating by an entirely different set of beliefs, corresponding circumstances and the combined momentum of both. It's really that simple.”
STUDENT: “Am I hearing you correctly, are you saying my mind controls what happens in my life?”
EASTWOOD: “That's what science tells us. Your personal experience manifests as a result of your inner subjective activity and status quo. Events and matter are created deep inside you at spiritual levels. Physicists know that thoughts are energy, as is matter, and now they know that the thoughts you think actually form your reality. You co-create with spirit, but always in accordance with your conscious thoughts and beliefs—these form your reality. Beliefs generate thoughts and emotions. Events and actions are then formed as a result of the entirety of this subjective content. That is, you create your reality by what you think and expect.”
STUDENT: “Physicists say that my thoughts form my reality? That sounds horrible because I think a lot of bad stuff!”
EASTWOOD: “Don't worry too much about that because there's a time lag involved. A period of time elapses between an idea's inception and its eventual manifestation. During this time other thoughts on the subject have a chance to modify the energy produced by the original thought. Ultimately what you experience physically—events and circumstances—are a replica of overall patterns of beliefs, thoughts and emotions that you typically entertain. Very definite laws of physics protect you from misuse of your own consciousness while you are learning to manage the creative power of your thoughts in the physical system.
“The physical world is a training ground. It's preparation for experiences you will have when you are done with this lifetime. When you advance into the greater spiritual realms, your beliefs, thoughts and emotions will manifest instantaneously—full blown, in very real form.
“Please at least consider that what I am saying may be true, because if it is true that your thoughts form your reality, think of what this means for you, and the power it implies. Think of the power you have over events and your life. Think of the opportunity that presents itself only because you have been given this information.”
STUDENT: “You say that there's science on this?”
EASTWOOD: “Back in the early and mid 1900's the little known science was birthed by Einstein and a few others. There's a little-known brilliant physicist named Hugh Everett who was first to get the facts right. His theories correspond with the amazing new science and facts we teach. A new, growing body of knowledge seeded by these scientists and mystics like Jane Roberts, gives the world the solutions it desperately needs, and individuals such as yourself the means to create the kind of life most people usually only dream of.
“About half a century after Einstein published his famous papers on relativity, Hugh Everett developed a complex mathematical theory which resolved a paradox that the other world's greatest physicists couldn't solve in their models of reality. In it he claimed that with each decision you make in life you create a new timeline and self. The new dimension then exists with another you, which EN calls a probable self. It is a relative term, because from the probable self's point of view you are the probable self it speculates could exist.
“Consider an ordinary decision you could make on an ordinary day. If you are pondering going to the store, and then you decide to go, in that moment of decision you create the reality of going to the store. However, in the moment of decision another you and another timeline is created. Your perception is of going to the store, however, a fork in the branch in timespace exists at the instant of the decision. There's a you that chose differently. That you didn't go to the store.
“The other reality that you chose to stay home in is still a part of you, however, a part of your soul's identity. And since you are your soul, you become more rather than less every time this happens. You add to yourself in a natural way. This kind of growth is not out of character with the rest of nature, which is abundant. This proliferation of self is a basic characteristic of the spirit which creates each physical self.
“The reality of the probable self that stayed home is as physical as yours. He is real. Think back to times when you decided not to try something new, make love, buy a house, or take a new job. The realities that could have been, actually exist, and you can experience and learn from them.
“In Hugh Everett's view there are many yous and many worlds. In our curriculum we explain that at a deep inner level your awareness expands to contain the awareness of all your probable selves. This is the soul's realm, the source of nighttime dreams, probabilities, and the physical world.
“Earth experience is a world shared with others creating in the same way.
“Pivoting allows you to top probable events like you would collect water from a well. When you recall your best memories you activate and draw on the inner probabilities most closely resembling your thoughts. Doing so brings elements of those realities into yours, and also sometimes creates intersections in realities, whereas the ideal life you had at twenty-five, but all too quickly lost, could reemerge in your present time—transforming your present to that which is similar to what you once had.
This is the science of pivoting. When you don't like a movie on your TV you simply change the channel. Probabilities, which are unlimited, are your soul's available programs from which you can draw or choose simply by pivoting, which is theoretically as easy to do as changing stations on your TV.
“Hugh Everett was a genius. He was employed by the Pentagon to conduct top secret atomic research at the height of the cold war, including development of the first U.S. response plans in the event of soviet nuclear attack. He was the first to give proper advice. His report dissuaded the U.S. government from establishing nuclear attack response plans calling for all out employment of the atom bomb!
“Everett introduced his theories regarding unlimited dimensions when he was teaching at Princeton, and personally met with some of the world's top physicists to formally introduce his ideas.
“Unfortunately, as a result of the scientific political climate at the time, his ideas were shoved aside. The renown physicists of the day had their own theories which they were pandering to the scientific community at that time, and favoring their own ideas, and believing themselves to be correct, they unfortunately rejected his.
“Comparable theories didn't exist in the scientific community at the time. Some had important similarities however, and more would soon develop. Soon afterwards, in the world renown physicist David Bohm's benchmark book ‘Quantum Theory,' David Bohm captured the scientific communities' attention with a new model of reality in which he formally introduced the concept of a multidimensional structure with a hierarchy of dimensions, each containing and forming the dimension ‘below' it.”
STUDENT: “I can't explain it, but I feel different. Somehow, while I was listening to you I realized that what you were saying was true.”
EASTWOOD: “The sensation of ‘knowing' happened because you activated knowledge that has always existed deep within you. You're beginning to awaken your soul's knowledge and potentials.”
STUDENT: “Before you explained reality to me a minute ago, I just thought that at twenty-five I created the good life because I was lucky, and because I was young and in love, and that circumstances could never come together like that again. But the way you're explaining reality is that it is created inside, like a dream, and that all kinds of probable realities already exist, and that my thoughts determine which part of which inner reality become real. You're saying that my good life never really ended in one of those inner realities, and that I can create a kind of intersection in my reality, and that kind of life can come back to me. According to what you are saying, I do this just by changing my beliefs, thoughts and emotions, which is therefore a really powerful thing to do.”
EASTWOOD: “When you contemplate what you want, you draw it to you. To intend it, expect it and believe in it ensures that what you contemplate will manifest.
“Yes, you can have it that good again—you can have it all. In your past you created love and success, and so your past proves that you can do it. By your thoughts and feelings you attracted love, and then that person's love for you strengthened other positive beliefs you held, which until then had been relatively dormant. You allowed yourself to believe you deserved love. You began believing in yourself, that you were competent, and could create the life you wanted, and you removed doubts and thought ‘this is life and life is good.'
“Those beliefs in turn generated more good thoughts and feelings. All that positive subjective activity is powerful, and draws on probabilities which manifest physically, thereby reinforcing the positive collection of beliefs responsible for the positive thoughts and feelings. You were in a positive spiral. However, your success itself, or something negative aroused doubts and broke that spiral. You simply need to get it back. You do that by adopting the same powerful subjective activity that you expressed then.”
STUDENT: “But how do I feel and think like I did then when everything was going so well, when the reality of my life now is so depressing and negative?”
EASTWOOD: “It's only negative because that is what you believe it is. Change how you look at anything and you can change what you look at. Spirit manifests exactly whatever you think or say to yourself is true. If you tell yourself ‘I want better,' then it will give you more of ‘'I want better,' by creating situations that generate that thought and feeling in you. I want you to focus on the positives in your situation. Every situation is relative; therefore, compare your situation in every area to what could be worse, or to those who have less than you. Then, after telling yourself (in that area) ‘I am in a good situation,' often enough, that thought will begin to become more and more evident in your life because your spirit will give you more and more of ‘I am in a good situation.'
“Secondly, understand that imagination needs to be used correctly. Unlike children, adults use their minds to evaluate whether a thought is true or not. They do this automatically. You can't use imagination to pretend something is true, and at the same time rationalize that it isn't true. The habit of denying what you are imagining will stalemate you at best. You must learn the art of ‘make believe' to employ the technique as children do, with no comparison to facts. By pretending something visualized is a fact it becomes a fact. This is the undeniable and unsurpassable power of imagination. Learn how to use it.
“Reality begins as imagination, thoughts, wishes and dreams. There's no limit to what you can create in your mind. And once something is conceived it is instantaneously real in the spirit world. Probabilities are created, and as a result, eventually a version of what you imagine will manifest in your physical reality.”
STUDENT: “It sounds like there's a lot to do.”
EASTWOOD: “There is. You need to train your mind. You've got to do what I suggested, and believe as you did when you were at your best. Once your beliefs change, your reality changes. And beliefs do change naturally as you live your life. Imagination just puts you in control and speeds the process up. Imagination moves concepts in and out of the mind. Our beliefs begin as emotion and imagination. By doing what I said to do, you can grow belief structures over time, which will return you to the way life once was for you.”
STUDENT: “How else do I change my reality?”
EASTWOOD: “By applying positive thought and emotion, and by using self-suggestion over time. If you are having a bad day, change what you are telling yourself is true in your head. The negative things you are saying to yourself are powerful reality-creating self-suggestion. That's why you are having a bad day, and if you continue, it's why your beliefs go bad and then your life goes down the drain. Imagination follows suggestion and belief and vice versa. You must learn to move both in the direction of your choosing. There's no other way. Beliefs generate thoughts, and both beliefs and thoughts generate emotions, then all of that ultimately manifests your reality. Imagination guides it all.”
STUDENT: “I can't stay positive; my mind always slips back into negative thoughts.”
EASTWOOD: “You've grown too many or too strong negative beliefs, which act as gyroscopes. Beliefs generate thoughts and emotions. To change beliefs you must change how you see yourself and your life in your mind's eye. Change your focus, use positive suggestion and imagination. Willfully change remaining poor attitudes, thinking and emotional bad habits, and you must make doing so, so automatic and consistent that it becomes your way of life.”
STUDENT: “Do different beliefs change perception?”
EASTWOOD: “Yes, and because most beliefs are held in the top-most portions of the conscious mind, the beliefs you hold at any hour on any given day rotate or shift often. At-work-beliefs are different than evening, relaxation-time-beliefs. When you've had no sleep, or if your body is sick or in pain, negative beliefs often take hold and these trigger different associations in your mind. On vacation different beliefs may apply than on a day you're applying for divorce. A winning lotto ticket will trigger different beliefs than a traffic jam or getting fired will. But it is also true that your beliefs created these experiences in the first place. Your reaction can support or diminish the original casual belief however, and you have free will as to how you will react to anything, which gives you power over your beliefs and thus your life.
“Beliefs are a very conscious point of view that is always changing. On good days you look through the lens of your better beliefs, and as a result life seems good. Positive beliefs trigger supportive positive memories through association. As soon as you activate a positive belief the mental associations, memories and mood that was connected to the previous negative belief fall away and are largely or completely forgotten. Life seems good, everything seems to be going your way, and the future looks more promising. Activating a new belief, in metaphor, can be like entering a new mental land or country, or visiting a different website. When the belief you're currently operating by changes, so does everything else, including how you perceive reality and reality itself.
“Looking at things through optimistic beliefs feels like looking at your life through rose-colored glasses. But it's not just perception that changes, reality changes, and the longer you stay on that mode the greater those changes become. Eventually all of your experience will change. First colors become brighter, then objects and the spaces between them expand. Over time the object and events themselves change. Reality is a projection of your consciousness. When it changes, your reality changes. And beliefs are like your hard drive because they run the show. When you hold positive beliefs you create good things, you draw positive people and create a different overall quality of events.
“Love, positive focus, utilizing your positive triggers, recognizing beauty, etc., changes perception. Another's love for you, great art, an amazing event, intense joy, enjoyable or positive experiences, successes, etc., can activate dormant positive beliefs, powers and spiritual forces that will go to work on your behalf. Then you draw to you a wide array of positive thoughts and feelings. Stay in this state and over time you grow positive beliefs, and these create a new reality for you. There's natural stages that apply to all growth and creativity, and time, conditions, and the seasons of the soul's experience in flesh apply, as well as purpose and intent.”
STUDENT: “But I'm older now and divorced.”
EASTWOOD: “I hear negative beliefs, and my answer to that is ‘So what?' To change perception focus on what you do have and what's in your heart. Act and think as if you already have what you want, and by law of cause and effect it must come to pass.”
STUDENT: “Pretend? Isn't that a child's game?”
EASTWOOD: “Are children happy? Do they have lots of energy, life-force, and charisma? Do they look healthy? Do they grow spiritually, mentally, emotionally and physically? Are they closer to spirit because of their recent arrival to earth? And didn't you say life worked when you were still young? Children are brilliant, high spiritual beings. They are rare treasures. They are creators in training testing their powers by employing imagination in a way adults have forgotten how to do. Above all else, spiritual beings are imaginative and thus powerful creators. You are a creator who has forgotten who you are. You have amnesia to your spiritual power, goodness and magnificence. Children know their magnificence; and their craft of creating events through imagination—a basic knowledge instinctively carried over from their spiritual existence—is alive and well in them. All children, however, grow up and forget their craft, and many more forget their power and magnificence. This is a great tragedy that doesn't have to be. It's time to change this mistake and to heal the world—to make our existence here on earth great once again, and a truly enlightened planetary civilization. We are creators, we can do this. So can you!
“There's so much power in imagination it's mind boggling! Conscious creation or co-creation rely on imagination and suggestion. These are the most powerful abilities you possess. Both are your tools to change beliefs. If this craft is made into a way of life it brings real success. When misused, failure is assured.”
STUDENT: “It's that important?”
EASTWOOD: “Einstein thought so. There's a reason why Albert Einstein said that imagination is more important than intellect.”
STUDENT: “I'm sorry, when you said that my attention lapsed. I felt a wave of emotion. I'm feeling more…optimistic…younger?”
EASTWOOD: “Your inner self reminded you of what you knew as a child—what as a spiritual being you've always known. You're experiencing a change in perception.
“Your beliefs are shifting because I've caused you to suspect that you do have the power to change your reality. Belief systems are made up of interconnected beliefs, so that when one shifts others follow.”
STUDENT: “Like the domino effect.”
EASTWOOD: “Yes. Your current thoughts and emotions are keying you into the fact that an internal shift in beliefs has occurred. Certain new conscious realizations will come incrementally over weeks and months, but the main event has already occurred on an out-of-time deep spiritual level. This is paradigm shift, an intersection in probabilities taking place deep inside you. You're pivoting to a new path in life. Because of this your life will be vastly different as long as you stay with it and keep learning in this vein.”
STUDENT: “You've had a life-changing effect on me. Until now I think I was going down the wrong road. Thank you.”

DECISIONS:
Everything we have in our life can be traced back to a conscious or unconscious decision. It may appear that we were forced to go one way or another, but the truth is, there's always a choice made before we take an action. The choices you have made have led to where you are now.
BELIEFS:
Your beliefs about yourself, about life, and how to handle all situations, determine your choices and decisions, how you act, and what you will accept or reject in life. They either open or close doors for you. These beliefs create in advance, or influence on the spot, every response, attitude, and action that will be a part of you and your future.
WANT TO FEEL GOOD NOW?!
Right now—right at this moment—you can begin turning your attention to these things. This is called pivoting. Once you know how to pivot you will know the secret to consistent happiness and creating what you want in life.
